University of Delhi participated in the 37th Inter-University North West Zone Youth Festival   2024 under the aegis of Association Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The youth festival was hosted by Maharshi Dayanand University (Rohtak).

University of Delhi participated in 17 categories of the festival and won prizes under 6 categories. 1st position was won by Rochelle John in category of Western Vocal Solo. 2nd position was won by Zargham Akram Khan in the Classical Instrumental Solo (Percussion) category. 3rd position was won in the Western Instrumental Solo category by Jaiditya Jha. 3rd position was also won by Aditya R in the Classical Dance category. 4th position was won by Khushboo Kumari Singh in the Rangoli category. 5th position was won by Pushpam Kumar in the category of On-the-Spot Painting.
Prof. Ravinder Kumar (Dean,Culture Council), Dr. Hemant Verma (Joint Dean, Culture Council), Dr. Rigzin Kang and Dr. Sukanya Tikadar (Team in-Charges), Dr. Sunil and Dr. Gurjeet Singh (Support Staff) were present at the prize ceremony which was headed by Additional Chief Secretary of Haryana Mr. Anand Mohan and Vice Chancellor of MDU (Rohtak) Prof. Rajbir Singh.
Vice Chancellor University of Delhi Prof. Yogesh Singh and Sh. Anoop Lather (Chairperson of Steering Committee, Culture Council) congratulated the entire contingent for this achievement.
Now DU will participate in the National Youth Festival to be held at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana in the month of March-April 2024.
